The responsible person does not take part in the management of the Czech company, but only represents the company under the contract for obtaining the license.

A Czech company must obtain a license to conduct any business activity.
The company name must end with a word, phrase or abbreviation that indicates the form of the company, for example, "s.r.o.".
The minimum share capital of s.r.o. is CZK 1. The recommended share capital is CZK 100 000 (approximately EUR 4000).

All Czech companies are required to keep accounting records and submit financial statements annually by 31 of March. Additionally, an audit is required if the Czech company meets two criteria: 1. Annual turnover of more than CZK 80,000,000. 2. The value of assets exceeds CZK 5,000,000. 3. The number of employees exceeds 25 people.
The corporate tax rate on company profits is 21%. The standard VAT rate is 21%. Obtaining a VAT number is mandatory for a Czech company s.r.o. if its annual turnover exceeds CZK 2,000,000.

The originals of the notarised documents of the founders and the notarised power of attorney are sent by courier to the Czech Republic.
