Only Lithuanian companies and residents of Lithuania can open an account with Siauliu Bankas. It is obligatory to confirm the presence of permanent counterparties in Lithuania for opening an account with Siauliu Bankas, if the beneficial owner of a Lithuanian company is a non-resident of Lithuania
Siauliu Bankas adheres to the principle of ‘know your customer’ and in each case reserves the right to request additional documents, which will lead to an increase in the time required to open an account, and may also refuse to open an account without giving any reason.

Opening an account for legal entities and individuals is free of charge. The bank's commission for additional compliance of a legal entity with owners non-residents of Lithuania is 400 EUR.

To open an account with Siauliu Bank you need to fill out our questionnaire and provide us with information about your activities and counterparties. Along with a questionnaire, you need to provide corporate documents of the company (for a legal entity) and personal identification documents (for an individual).
Our specialists analyze the information and documents provided and fill out the Siauliu Bank forms.
We send the ready-made package of documents for opening an account with Siauliu Bank to a bank manager for review.
Director and shareholder (for a legal entity) or an individual (for a personal account) are verified at the bank's branch in Vilnius and sign bank forms. During a personal meeting, the bank is provided with the originals of corporate documents (for a legal entity) and identification documents (for an individual). Upon a bank request all documents must be provided with a certified translation into Lithuanian.
