The Mercurius payment system was established in 2017 in the Czech Republic as a licensed provider of international payment services. A team of specialists in the field of banking services and information technology allows us to provide Mercurius clients with the highest level of security and speed of transfers.
The Mercurius payment system opens accounts in IBAN format, and also allows you to make payments via SEPA and SWIFT. The Mercurius payment system is regulated by the National Bank of the Czech Republic. In addition to favorable working conditions, Mercurius offers an individual approach to the client - a personal manager and KYC analyst.
Private and corporate clients of Mercurius get the following opportunities:
Opening an account in the international IBAN format is possible in 3 to 5 days.
Opening an account for working with US dollars is possible without a visit to the lawyers in just a few business days.
The Mercurius payment system opens personal accounts for Ukrainian citizens and Ukrainian LLCs. It is also possible to quickly open an account for sole proprietorships (individual entrepreneurs) from Ukraine.
A multi-currency account in Mercurius is easy! We will prepare your documents and agree on all aspects with the manager in advance, and you will only have to sign the documents at a personal meeting. The meeting can be held at the Mercurius office in Prague or Riga, or by agreement in another country. The Mercurius payment system does not open accounts for offshore companies, financial intermediary companies, companies registered in the United States, and companies whose directors or owners are US citizens.
The Mercurius payment system adheres to the principle of ‘know your customer’ and in each case reserves the right to request additional documents, which will lead to an increase in the time required to open an account, and may also refuse to open an account without giving any reason.

A personal meeting with manager of the payment system in the Czech Republic or Latvia is required. A meeting in another country is agreed on an individual basis.
For all legal entities, the fee for reviewing documents for opening an account is from 300 EUR. You fill in our application form and provide us with full information about your business and counterparties. Along with the questionnaire, you must provide corporate documents of the company and personal identification documents of the director and beneficiary or individual (for a personal account).
Our specialists analyze the information and documents provided and fill out the Mercurius payment system questionnaires.
We send the package of documents for opening an account to the Mercurius manager for review.
The director and beneficiary (for a legal entity) or an individual are identified during a personal meeting with the manager.
At this stage, the Mercurius payment system verifies the client and may request additional information about the activity and source of funds.
The account is opened within 5-10 business days after a personal meeting with the manager and the submission of a complete package of documents.
